Welcome to Episode 7 of our Homemade Camper Build! In this episode, we’re making some major progress on our DIY camper build as we prepare the exterior and start installing the electrical system.
We begin by sanding the entire outside of our homemade camper, getting the plywood exterior ready for epoxy. We also install the door jamb for our rear kitchen door, an important step in getting the galley area finished.
Next, we tackle the camper’s electrical system and install several key components, including the breaker box, fuse block, battery box, and battery shut-off switch. We’re building this camper from scratch, so every part of the electrical system has to be planned and installed as we go.
Finally, we epoxy the entire exterior plywood of the camper, helping seal and protect the wood before we move on to the next stages of the build.
This homemade camper build has been a huge DIY project, and we’re excited to take you along for every step!
